Yellow Yoghurt Curry a.k.a Mallu Kadi

This dish is called “Moru” in Malayalam and I like to call it the “Mallu Kadi”. Both the chefs find it real easy to make and nice to eat. šŸ™‚


This is how I make it.

What to use:
Yoghurt – mix it well with some water to get a honey-like consistency. Make sure it is lump-less.
Chopped onions, ginger, green chillies
Mustard seeds, dried red chillies, curry leaves, Methi seeds.
Corriander leaves, salt, turmeric powder.

How to make:
Heat VERY little oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, methi seeds, curry leaves, and dried chillies to this. When the seeds begin to pop, add ginger and onions and green chillies to this. Saute this mixture till the onion is golden brown. Add a pinch of turmeric and salt to taste. Lower the flame to simmer. You can switch off the stove as well. To this, add the yoghurt and mix well. Add corriander leaves to this.

Mallu Kadi ready! šŸ™‚
